Marilyn...

Winter in Humboldt County is cold and dreary. The best thing to do in this weather is curl up and read a good book--or watch a good movie. Lately I've turned to Marilyn Monroe's movies for entertainment. I've never been a huge fan of hers before, but then I watched My Week With Marilyn and began to wonder what it was about her that made her so popular. Now that I've watched a couple of her movies, I think I understand. First of all, she was beautiful. Second, her movies are so fun! And third, she's so funny, who knew?

 

She has such a tragic story, but it is nice to be able to enjoy her at her best, a couple of hours at a time.
